No image is perfect straight out of the camera. Every professional photograph requires finessing in post-processing to really make it stand out. Sometimes the work required after the fact is very minor, whilst at other times the entire look of the image depends on post-processing. Photoshop is a powerful tool that takes skill and experience to use well.
The images in this gallery have been chosen to demonstrate the work that goes into finishing an image. The act of capturing the image is only one part of a very involved process.
